Sheet Pan Apple Pork Chops are an easy weeknight meal, and they can be made with just five ingredients from Aldi!

Have you ever tried a sheet pan dinner? They have become very popular in recent years because they are easy to cook and require very little prep time. Sheet pan dinners also dirty only one pan — the sheet pan — which is a big bonus in my book!

Most sheet pan meals involve some form of meat, vegetables and potatoes, which are seasoned and spread out into a single layer to roast in your oven. Once dinner is in the oven, you have a few minutes while it bakes to attend to other things around the house, which makes it the perfect weeknight meal.

This recipe for Sheet Pan Apple Pork Chops uses just five ingredients, and you can buy them all at Aldi.

Sheet Pan Apple Pork Chops ingredients

Boneless pork chops are a staple in our weeknight dinners. They are quick to cook, lean and juicy. We start by laying them out on one half of a sheet pan.

One thing we love about this weeknight dinner is that it uses sweet potatoes and green beans as the sides — perfect for fall! Go ahead and cut your green beans into bite-sized pieces before spreading them on about 1/4 of the pan.

Now cut your sweet potatoes into bite-sized cubes and add the to your pan in a single layer.

Drizzle olive oil over everything and bake at 350 for about 30 minutes. Hold onto that can of apple pie filling. We’re going to use it later. We promise we won’t forget.

Ahhh, we’re finally to the best part. You know that classic combination of pork chops and applesauce? We’re going to get that same delicious taste — with a can of apple pie filling! Go ahead and spread those apples on the pork chops. If you have extras, spread them around the sheet pan, too.

Don’t let any of those sweet apples go to waste!

Slide that pan back into the oven for another five minutes or so, and your dinner is served!

Buy one more item from Aldi: heavy duty aluminum foil. Line the sheet pan before you start and you will have no clean up afterwards! Just crumple up the foil, toss it into the recycling bin, and time to relax.
