Although Walmart Vision Center accepts most major insurance companies, including Medicaid and Medicare, they do not accept EyeMed insurance. Walmart considers EyeMed an “out-of-network” provider.
Founded in 1988, EyeMed Vision Care is a vision insurance company based in Ohio. They serve over 20,000 clients across the United States each year.

Even though Walmart Vision Center cannot bill EyeMed directly for vision care services, you can still seek reimbursement for products and services after the fact. To learn all about the process of vision insurance reimbursement, keep reading.
