Aldi US is rapidly expanding in 2026 with plans to open more than 180 new stores across 31 states.
As the company marks its 50th anniversary in America, several locations—especially in Florida—already have confirmed opening dates, while many others will be announced throughout the year.
Jacksonville, Florida – June 17, 2026
Aldi opened its new store at 777 North Market Street in downtown Jacksonville. This location, formerly a Harveys Supermarket, marks the first of three new Aldi stores opening in the Jacksonville area within a short period. The 25,000-square-foot store is part of Aldi’s ongoing conversion of former Southeastern Grocers properties and helps serve the growing downtown population near new residential and commercial developments.
Jacksonville, Florida – June 25, 2026
Aldi will open its second new Jacksonville location at 1531 Monument Road. This former Winn-Dixie conversion is the second of three new stores planned for the area in June and July 2026. It will bring Aldi’s total store count in the Jacksonville market to 17 locations.
Jacksonville, Florida – July 2, 2026
The third new Jacksonville store will open at 12777 Atlantic Boulevard. Like the other two locations, this is a conversion of a former Winn-Dixie. Together, these three new stores represent a major push by Aldi to expand its presence across Duval County following its 2024 acquisition of Southeastern Grocers assets.
Deerfield Beach, Florida – January 22, 2026
Aldi opened a new store at 2301 West Sample Road. This location was part of the early 2026 wave of openings and serves the growing population in northern Broward County.
Jacksonville, Florida – January 22, 2026
Aldi opened another new store at 3538 Blanding Boulevard in the Cedar Hills area. This was one of the first new Aldi locations of 2026 in Florida and helped increase the retailer’s footprint in the western part of Jacksonville.
Williston, Florida – 2026
Aldi plans to open a new store at 727 West Noble Avenue. This location is currently listed on Aldi’s official Grand Openings page, though an exact opening date has not yet been announced.
Douglas, Georgia – 2026
Aldi will open a new store at 901 West Ward Street. This location appears on the company’s current Grand Openings page as one of the confirmed upcoming stores for 2026.
Rockaway, New Jersey – 2026
Aldi plans to open a new store at 327 Mount Hope Avenue. This is one of the few New Jersey locations currently listed on Aldi’s official Grand Openings page for 2026.
New York, New York – 2026
Aldi will open a new store at 311 West 42nd Street in Midtown Manhattan. This location is expected to be a high-profile urban store serving the dense population around Times Square and the Theater District.
Lawrenceburg, Tennessee – 2026
Aldi plans to open a new store at 2000 North Locust Avenue. This location is currently featured on Aldi’s official Grand Openings page as a confirmed 2026 opening.
