These Aldi French and Dutch Ovens are Le Creuset Dupes, and We Can’t Believe the Price Difference!

Aldi has French and Dutch Ovens that have called Le Creuset Dupes…the price difference is almost unbelievable!

Just when we have gotten our house all decked out with Aldi fall decor, it’s time to start thinking about what’s coming next: Thanksgiving and holiday cooking.

One of the best tools you can have is your disposal is some quality, heavy-duty cookware, and Le Creuset’s enameled cast iron is among the best of the best.

What’s so special about enameled cast iron? Well, it is ultra-durable and long-lasting, so it can often be passed down from generation to generation. It is heavy-duty and can be used in the oven, on the stovetop, or even on a grill. And it has nonstick properties and is easy to care for.

Plus, it’s so pretty!

But it can also cost a pretty penny. A single Le Creuset pot costs hundreds — and we’re not exaggerating here — hundreds of dollars.

Enter our favorite store: Aldi.

Aldi carries enameled cast iron cookware under its Crofton private label, and right now, there are two great Le Creuset dupes.

  1. Aldis cookware is amazing
It upholds anything we can throw at it..
Side by side even the pros have a hard time telling the difference between Le crueset and aldis brands… try them and see you won’t be disappointed..

  2. Anyone have any recipes to use these with? I want to get one but don’t have recipes so can’t really justify it yet

  3. French oven has changed my cooking life. I’ve had my Crofton French oven for two years. no complaints!! Did accidentally end up in the dishwasher which caused enamel to chip off about a month ago. I do also use mine on broil ???? but still going strong. Will upgrade to LC next, since I now only use French oven to cook with.

  4. Can someone help me find these!! My Aldi’s doesn’t have it yet; and customer service hotline cannot even help me! I will drive anywhere for these!!

  5. I bought a Crofton 3.2L cast iron french pan and was missing the instruction manual. Does any one know if I have to do anything efore use

  6. I have been to 4 different Aldi’s an never have seen these pots. Where are they at. I live in the Binghamton NY area. Any one know?

  7. I went to Aldi’s for the first time and bought one of the Crofton French ovens (6 qt.) on sale right before Christmas, 2022. The first time I went to use it, I found that the top didn’t fit correctly (it rocked and wouldn’t fit tightly). Since the job of a Dutch (or French) oven is to recirculate the moisture / condensation back into the dish instead of letting it evaporate, there was no point in using the pot. I was so glad I kept the receipt. I took it back in January and the first thing they asked for was the receipt. They didn’t give me any hassle whatsoever. But it left a bad taste in my mought. I cannot imagine that Le Creuset doesn’t have a something called “Quality Control” or inspection that Crofton could benefit from copying.
