ALDI is giving shoppers another reason to check the aisles before September wraps up.
The grocer just announced another round of price reductions on everyday groceries, including chicken, apples and fresh produce. On top of those new nationwide cuts, we’re also seeing some surprisingly deep ALDI Price Drops on freezer foods, cheese, pantry staples and snacks.
A few of these markdowns are especially good — think 65-cent rice, $1.35 pretzel buns and Bread Cheese for about half price.
One thing to keep in mind: ALDI’s newly announced fall price reductions are nationwide, while individual Price Drop markdowns can vary by store. Exact shelf prices may be different in your area.
1. Kirkwood Chicken Breast Family Packs
Now: $2.19/lb | Lowest ALDI everyday price since 2022
This may be the price cut that matters most for everyday grocery shopping.
ALDI dropped its Kirkwood chicken breast family packs to $1.99 per pound, which the grocer says is its lowest everyday price on the product since 2022.
At that price, it’s worth checking the meat case if chicken is already part of your weekly meal rotation. A larger pack can easily cover several dinners, and the extra can go straight into the freezer.
Good for: sheet-pan dinners, grilled chicken, casseroles and freezer meal prep.
2. Honeycrisp Apples
Now: $1.99/lb | 35% Lower Than Last Year
Honeycrisps don’t usually fall into the bargain-fruit category, which is why this one caught my attention.
ALDI says its new $1.99-per-pound price is 35% lower than last year and the lowest everyday Honeycrisp price it has offered in more than five years.
That’s a much more meaningful deal than shaving a few cents off a bag of apples.
Good buy for: lunch boxes, oatmeal, salads or just keeping a bowl on the counter.
3. Sundae Shoppe Fruit Bars
$4.29 → $1.25 | 71% Off
This is one of the deepest September Price Drops I found.
Some ALDI stores have marked Sundae Shoppe Lime and Pineapple Fruit Bars down to $1.25, from $4.29.
That’s more than $3 off a box.
If your store still has them at this price, this is one of those freezer deals that’s hard to ignore.
4. L’oven Fresh Pretzel Hamburger Buns
$3.29 → $1.35 | 59% Off
Pretzel buns for $1.35 are an easy add-to-cart deal.
The four-count L’oven Fresh Pretzel Hamburger Buns have been marked down from $3.29 in some stores, putting them well below the price of many regular hamburger buns.
Use them for burgers, pulled pork, chicken sandwiches or breakfast sandwiches.
Tip: They freeze well, so grabbing an extra package at this price isn’t a bad idea.
5. Park Street Deli Fried Pickle & Ranch Dip
$3.29 → $1.35 | 59% Off
Here’s one of the more interesting markdowns in the refrigerated section.
The Park Street Deli Fried Pickle & Ranch Dip has been spotted for only $1.35, down from $3.29.
At full price, it might be something you debate tossing into the cart. At $1.35, it’s much easier to give it a try.
Pair it with potato chips, pretzels, crackers or sliced vegetables.
6. Sundae Shoppe Sorbet
$4.19 → $1.75 | 58% Off
ALDI shoppers may also find several Sundae Shoppe sorbet flavors marked down to $1.75.
We’ve seen Pineapple, Lemon Blueberry and Strawberry Lemonade included in the Price Drop.
You’re saving $2.44 per container, which makes this one of the better freezer-section markdowns this month.
7. Caribbean Style Microwavable Rice
$1.45 → $0.65 | 55% Off
This may be one of the best pantry shortcuts on the entire list.
The 8.8-ounce Caribbean Style Microwavable White Rice has dropped to just 65 cents in participating stores.
That’s the kind of price where grabbing a few makes sense.
Keep them around for burrito bowls, quick lunches, chicken dinners or nights when you don’t want to make rice from scratch.
Also look for: Lemon & Herb Basmati and Mild Chili Crisp varieties. Some stores have marked those down to around the same price.
8. Emporium Selection Bread Cheese
$4.39 → As Low as $1.99 | Up to 55% Off
ALDI’s Bread Cheese is one of the more interesting specialty-cheese deals we’ve spotted.
Original and Garlic varieties have been showing up for $1.99 to $2.19, down from $4.39 depending on the store.
That works out to roughly 50% to 55% off.
If you’ve been curious about Bread Cheese but never wanted to spend more than $4 on it, this is a much better time to experiment.
Warm it in a skillet until the outside gets golden, then serve it with marinara, honey or preserves.
9. Burman’s Green Chili Aioli
$2.75 → $1.55 | 44% Off
This is the kind of ALDI condiment that can sit unnoticed until the price drops low enough to make you stop.
Burman’s Green Chili Aioli has been marked down to $1.55, from $2.75.
Try it on burgers, grilled chicken, tacos, fries or roasted potatoes.
For $1.55, it’s an inexpensive way to change up a basic weeknight dinner.
10. Simply Nature Organic Sweet Tea
$1.75 → $1.09 | 38% Off
Several Simply Nature Organic Sweet Tea varieties have been showing up for just $1.09.
Depending on the store, you may find Original, Lemon or Raspberry included.
It’s not the biggest dollar savings on the list, but knocking nearly 40% off an organic bottled drink is still a solid markdown.
11. Simply Nature Organic Chicken Cheddar Bratwurst
$5.45 → $3.55 | 35% Off
Here’s another dinner shortcut worth watching for.
The five-count package of Simply Nature Organic Chicken Cheddar Bratwurst has been marked down to $3.55, from $5.45, in some stores.
That’s nearly $2 off the package.
Pair them with roasted vegetables, potatoes or the discounted pretzel buns above and dinner is basically handled.
12. Chef’s Cupboard Chicken Broth
$2.59 → $1.99 | 23% Off
This isn’t the flashiest item on the list, but it may be one of the most useful.
A 48-ounce carton of Chef’s Cupboard Chicken Broth has dropped below the $2 mark.
At $1.99, it’s an easy pantry stock-up for soups, casseroles, rice dishes and slow-cooker meals.
Sometimes the deals worth buying aren’t the trendy ones — they’re the things you’ll actually use.
13. Emporium Selection Hot Honey Gouda
$3.95 → $3.09 | 22% Off
ALDI’s specialty cheese case usually has something interesting hiding in it, and this month it’s Hot Honey Gouda.
The six-ounce package has been marked down to $3.09, from $3.95.
The sweet-and-spicy cheese works well with crackers, burgers, sandwiches or a simple snack board.
Also spotted: Spinach Artichoke Gouda has been showing up at the same discounted price in some stores.
14. Benton’s Jaffa Cakes
$3.19 → $2.45 | 23% Off
Benton’s Jaffa Cakes are another fun ALDI treat getting a September Price Drop.
Both Orange and Raspberry varieties have been spotted for $2.45, down from $3.19.
They’re part soft cake, part fruit filling and part chocolate coating — definitely more interesting than an ordinary cookie.
If you’re already a Jaffa Cake fan, saving nearly a quarter off the regular price makes this a good time to stock up.
15. Peanut Delight Creamy Peanut Butter
$2.19 → $1.75 | 20% Off
We’ll finish with a deal almost any household can use.
The 18-ounce jar of Peanut Delight Creamy Peanut Butter has dropped to $1.75 in participating stores.
The savings aren’t as dramatic as some of the clearance-style Price Drops above, but a full-size jar of peanut butter for under $2 is still worth mentioning.
It’s especially useful if you’re shopping for school lunches, quick breakfasts or inexpensive snacks.
The ALDI Price Cuts I’d Check for First
If I were walking into ALDI this week, I’d start with the $1.99 chicken breast and $1.99 Honeycrisp apples because those are part of ALDI’s broader nationwide price cuts.
After that, I’d look for the store-specific bargains — especially the 65-cent microwavable rice, $1.25 fruit bars, $1.35 pretzel buns, $1.35 Fried Pickle & Ranch Dip and roughly half-price Bread Cheese.
Those are the deals where the shelf price feels noticeably different, not just a few cents cheaper.
ALDI’s newest nationwide reductions are expected to run through at least November 3, but the individual Price Drop markdowns can disappear sooner and vary quite a bit from one store to another.
So if you see one of the bigger markdowns at your ALDI, don’t assume it’ll still be there on your next trip.
