Aldi is Selling Vanilla Bean Wine Just in Time for Valentine’s Day

This sweet Vanilla Bean Wine would make a great Valentine’s Day gift for your valentine, or your best friend!

One thing we can always count on from Aldi, are new alcoholic drink selections perfectly timed for certain seasons.

We have seen margarita wine in the summer and mulled wine just in to for the winter holidays.

So, it should come as no surprise that Aldi would be bringing out some sweet wines for sweethearts celebrating Valentine’s Day.

This Petit Vanilla Bean Wine Specialty is made in Germany, where many Aldi products are imported from.

It is billed as a blend of white wine with rich vanilla flavor and finest cream.

You will find this sweet, creamy drink in U.S. Aldi stores for the ad week of Jan. 20 (Sunday, Jan. 17 in stores with a Sunday ad switchover).

As with all alcohol at Aldi, the price will vary by the store — this is necessary because state and local taxes on alcoholic drinks vary.

But we’re going to take an educated guess here that this wine will be priced in the $7-$10 range.

Wine Pairings

We’ve seen this type of wine compared to sipping melted vanilla ice cream. So, obviously, it’s going to be a dessert wine — to be enjoyed after a meal, not with it.

We’re guessing it will pair up nicely with the many varieties of European chocolate available in Aldi stores for the Valentine’s Day holiday!

Does My Aldi Sell Alcohol?

Though no Aldi stores in the United States sell hard liquor, many stores sell wine, beer, hard seltzer, and “wine specialty cocktails” like this one.

It all depends on state and local laws, and whether or not your store has a license to sell these drinks.
