Aldi’s rectangular storage ottoman is a hot item for organizing homes this new year!
How are those healthy New Year’s Resolutions coming along for you? Last week, Aldi brought us fitness equipment and healthy good options. This week, you’re in luck if you resolved to organize this year — the Aisle of Shame will be filled with items to help.
And if you’ve pledged to go meatless this year, you’ll find a wide selection of new foods this week, too!
SOHL Furniture Rectangular Storage Ottoman
Members of our Aldi Aisle of Shame Facebook Group are already raving about this storage ottoman and posting pics of how they are using them at home. The lid lifts for storage, and with a cushioned top, they can also be used as extra seating. We love the idea of using them for toys, or for storage where you wouldn’t use tall furniture — like in front of a bedroom window. This ottoman is priced at $19.99.
Vegan Protein Options
Aldi is bring out more than a dozen new vegan foods this week, including this JUST Egg Plant-Based Scramble. You’ll also find lots of frozen burgers, chickenless nuggets, and more.
L’oven Fresh Breakfast Rounds
These L’oven Fresh Breakfast Rounds, which come in a 6-pack for $2.99, have our interest piqued. They look to be a cross between a sandwich thin and an English muffin, perhaps? They are available in Apple Cinnamon and Cranberry Orange flavors.
Pembrook 9″ Advanced Thermal Laminator
This $16.99 laminator is big enough for letter-size paper, and compact enough to easily store in your home office until you need it. It includes a starter kit of laminating pouches, but there were also be larger packs of the pouches available this week for $4.99. It may be a good idea to stock up since they aren’t around all the time.
Simply Nature Split Lentils
So we’ll admit here that lentils seem like an odd thing for any sort of “must-haves” list. However, lentils are not a regularly stocked item at Aldi, so if you cook with them, now’s the time to stock up and avoid a special trip to another store for them.
Pembrook Dry Erase Board or Calendar Board
We are having a hard time believing these dry erase boards and calendars are priced at $3.99! These measure 16 x 20, and they are available with a gold or silver frame. There is the calendar board pictured, as well as a black dry erase board. And they come with a marker/eraser combo and a magnet.
Simply Nature Grain Free Cookie Bites
We are hearing great things about these sweet treats, which fit in with gluten-free, paleo and vegan diets. They are available in Chocolate Chip, Double Chocolate Chip, and Salted Caramel varieties for $2.99.
Crofton Nonstick Copper Crisper
If you didn’t get an air fryer for Christmas, this copper crisping pan could be the next best thing. Its basket allows hot air to circulate under your food in the oven, reportedly making crisper French friers and more. This crisping pan is priced at $9.99.
Simply Nature Butternut Squash Crackers
These gluten-free, vegan cracker options are available in Sea Salt or Cinnamon Brown Sugar flavors. They could help you satisfy your craving for something crunchy and salty, or crunchy and sweet, in a healthier way.
Crane Ladies Sports Bra
If you were distracted by the new kettle bell sets or yoga mats in the Aisle of Shame last week, you may have missed out on these gems. The quality on these Ladies Sports Bras is supposed to be phenomenal! Check for them when you head there for your storage ottoman and this week’s other must-haves!
