Aldi Fans Are Going Crazy Over This Discount Miracle Cleaner

Have you tried Cloralen cleaner? Aldi fans can’t get enough!

While many Aldi fans have been posting in our Aldi Aisle of Shame Facebook Group about the special holiday foods, Aldi Christmas decor and other gift items being sold in stores, there’s one other topic that has been dominating the conversation of late: Cleaning.
Yep, Aldi fans are scrub-a-dub-dubbing their way to sparkling clean showers, sinks and toilet bowls with a cleaner that has been around for quite awhile, but is new to Aldi shelves: Cloralen.

And apparently, this cleaner works miracles, with home owners and apartment dwellers alike posting pictures of years-old stains being lifted away.
“PEOPLE DO NOT SLEEP ON THIS PRODUCT!!” wrote Carli Brown.  “I will never buy anything else to wash my shower with!!! If you have hard water, buy this a few at a time!!”
Here are Carli’s before and after pics:

“I’ve tried EVERYTHING to clean this thing and nothing worked!” she wrote.

While Cloralen cleaning products are a new discovery for many Aldi shoppers, it is one of the most recognizable cleaning brands in Mexico, and has been distributed in parts of the U.S. for many years. However, with some products in short supply this year during the COVID-19 pandemic, and the demand for cleaning products at record highs, Cloralen has recently seen much wider distribution, including landing on the shelves at Aldi stores.

Kelsey Klohn had a similar experience — wiping out a 3-year-old stain in a toilet.

“Cloralen I love you. I didn’t take a before pic, because quite frankly, I don’t believe in witchcraft. I didn’t expect this to work. …

“No change to the gross discoloration in the bottom of my toilet, even after approximately 150 scrubs. Alas, enter Cloralen spray, which has been clogging up my news feed for days. I figured heck, worth a shot right? GUYS. WHAT IS THIS MAGIC?!”
