Knowing demand would be strong, we had to find a supplier who could both handle our volume, and also deliver the very best Salt & Vinegar Chip to satisfy our customers’ expectations. We found that supplier in Canada. Their secret (not-so-secret) formula involves kettle-cooking thinly sliced potatoes in small batches using Avocado Oil, which produces an amazing crunch that serves as an ideal base for the all-important seasoning. Ever since we added a “Home, Bath & Beauty” category to our annual Trader Joe’s Customer Choice Awards ballot, our lidded, limited-edition, seasonally-Scented Candles have collectively nabbed the top spot. Did you know that many green onions out there are actually just immature red, white, or yellow onions? It’s true! If left unharvested, the little white bulb at the end of green onions within the Allium cepa species would eventually grow into the kind of big, standard, papery-skinned onions you see on our produce tables every day.
