Q1 2026 List:

Hamden, Connecticut

Status: NOW OPEN (Opened Feb. 5, 2026)
Location: 46 Skiff St (Former LA Fitness)
Details: After months of construction in the former gym space, this 12,000+ sq. ft. location is finally serving the New Haven area.

Johns Creek, Georgia

Status: NOW OPEN (Opened Feb. 12, 2026)
Location: 1000 Medley Blvd (at The Medley)
Details: This store anchors the new “Medley” mixed-use development. It opened to massive crowds and features a custom mural highlighting local Johns Creek landmarks.

Miller Place, New York

Status: NOW OPEN (Opened Feb. 12, 2026)
Location: 300 Route 25A
Details: Long Island’s newest TJ’s is a 13,500 sq. ft. powerhouse. It finally fills the gap for North Shore residents who previously had to trek to Lake Grove.

Iselin, New Jersey

Status: NOW OPEN (Opened Jan. 14, 2026)
Location: 675 US-1 (Woodbridge)
Details: Taking over the old Bed, Bath & Beyond, this highway-adjacent location has quickly become a high-traffic hub for commuters on Route 1.

Glenmont, New York

Status: NOW OPEN (Opened Jan. 2026)
Location: 388 Feura Bush Rd (Glenmont Plaza)
Details: The third location in the Capital Region, solving the “Colonie or Clifton Park?” debate for South Albany shoppers.

Q2 2026: Spring & Summer Projections

Based on recent “Coming Soon” listings and municipal permits, these are the heavy hitters for the next three months.

Tucson, Arizona (Broadway Blvd)

Status: PROJECTED MAY 2026
Location: 2150 E. Broadway Blvd
Details: Construction is essentially finished, and crew hiring began in late February. Local Reddit threads from “Grant Rd” employees suggest a mid-May opening date.

Mandeville, Louisiana

Status: PROJECTED Q2 2026
Location: 3410 Highway 190
Details: Part of a major Louisiana expansion. Shell construction is done, and interior shelving was spotted being moved in late February.

West Palm Beach, Florida

Status: PROJECTED JUNE 2026
Location: 8111 S. Dixie Highway
Details: This store will mark Florida’s 28th location. The site was officially added to the “Coming Soon” corporate page in mid-February, usually a 3-4 month lead indicator.

Woodinville, Washington

Status: PROJECTED Q2 2026
Location: 14035 NE Woodinville Duvall Rd
Details: Mayor Mike Millman teased this for “early 2026,” and with the exterior signage now up, a June launch looks highly likely.

These locations are confirmed but are still in the heavy renovation or “permit pending” phase.

Merriam, Kansas

Status: TARGETING FALL 2026
Location: 8700 Shawnee Mission Pkwy
Details: Replacing the former Antioch Library. This is part of the $102M Merriam Grand Station project. Expect a “Harvest” season opening.

McKinney, Texas (West)

Status: TARGETING NOVEMBER 2026
Location: 8101 Eldorado Pkwy
Details: Renovation permits filed in late Feb 2026 show a $2.5M interior build-out scheduled to wrap by late October.

Phoenix, Arizona (Camelback)

Status: LATE 2026
Location: 19th Ave & Camelback Rd
Details: A recently announced 15th Valley location. Liquor license filings suggest a November wrap-up for construction.

New Orleans, Louisiana (Napoleon Ave)

Status: LATE 2026
Location: 2428 Napoleon Ave
Details: The “Big Easy” expansion continues to be “easy” on the timeline—local blogs suggest this is likely a Q3 or Q4 opening due to historical site preservation requirements.

1. Costa Mesa, California

Status: NOW OPEN (Opened Dec. 11, 2025)
Location: 2170 Harbor Blvd (at Victoria St)
Details: A 9,500+ sq. ft. store in a former “99 Cents Only” location, opened just in time for holiday shopping.

2. Virginia Beach, Virginia (Town Center)

Status: OPENING FRIDAY (Dec. 19, 2025)
Location: 220 Constitution Drive
Details: The second Virginia Beach location (replacing a Bed, Bath & Beyond) launches this Friday.

3. Kingwood, Texas

Status: NOW OPEN (Opened Dec. 5, 2025)
Location: 600 Kingwood Dr.
Details: This long-awaited location in the Houston area is officially open for business.

4. Melbourne, Florida

Status: NOW OPEN (Opened Dec. 3, 2025)

Details: Serving the Space Coast, this store opened early in the month to big crowds.

5. Columbia, South Carolina

Details: Located in the Harbison corridor, this store brought TJs back to the top of the request list for SC residents.

6. Williamsville, New York

Details: A new Buffalo-area location that opened just in time for the winter season.

7. Cypress, Texas

Status: PROJECTED DECEMBER (Late Dec 2025)

Details: While minor weather delays were reported, this store is effectively complete and targeting a year-end launch.
